Real prices. Real fees. No surprises.

The mid-market rate is the reference price between the global bid and ask — it's a useful benchmark but it's not what you pay on any actual exchange. The "On 24crypto" figure below each result shows what you'd truly receive after our tiered service fee, computed from the CHF value of your order.

We hold the rate for 24 hours when you buy with bank transfer (30 minutes when you sell crypto for fiat). If we don't receive the bank transfer within that window the order auto-cancels and the rate is released — no hidden penalties.

Per-transaction limits are 100 CHF minimum and 100'000 CHF maximum. For larger orders, contact us for OTC pricing.

Where do these rates come from?

Crypto and fiat-cross prices come from CoinMarketCap and refresh every 60 seconds. Fiat-to-fiat rates are derived from USDT's cross-prices in the same CMC payload (USDT trades close enough to 1 USD that its EUR / CHF / GBP price acts as a live FX proxy). Mid-market rates are reference-only — actual execution rate on 24crypto includes our service fee plus a small spread to cover settlement.

What's the minimum and maximum I can exchange on 24crypto?

Each transaction has a minimum of 100 CHF and a maximum of 100'000 CHF (or equivalent in EUR / USD / GBP). For larger orders please reach out to support@24crypto.ch and we'll arrange OTC pricing.

How long is the rate locked once I confirm an order?

Buying crypto with a bank transfer locks the rate for 24 hours — if we don't receive the wire within that window the order is cancelled automatically. Selling crypto for fiat locks the rate for 30 minutes; you must send the crypto on the chosen network within the window for the rate to apply.

Why is the 24crypto amount lower than the mid-market figure?

Mid-market is the midpoint between buy and sell prices on global exchanges — nobody actually trades there. The 24crypto figure shows what you'd actually receive: it includes our tiered service fee (0.40%–0.70% depending on the order's CHF value) and reflects the executable price our liquidity desk fills at.

Do you support direct crypto-to-crypto swaps?

Not yet as a single transaction — for now you'd sell the source asset for CHF / EUR / USD and buy the destination asset in a second order. Two fees apply, but settlement and compliance happen within a single regulated venue.
